Acceptable Use

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) describes prohibited uses of Alvas.ai (the “Service”) and forms part of the Terms of Service. 404 Technologies Inc. (d/b/a Alvas.ai) (“the Company,” “we,” or “us”) operates the Service. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to comply with this AUP. Any violation of this AUP may result in the suspension or termination of your access to the Service, or other legal actions where applicable.

1. No Unauthorized Security Testing

  1. Prohibited Activities: You must not conduct or attempt to conduct any security testing of the Service without prior written authorization from the Company. This includes (but is not limited to) penetration testing, vulnerability scanning, and exploitation or attempted exploitation of any security flaws.
  2. Reporting Vulnerabilities: If you believe you have discovered a security issue, please report it responsibly to marius@alvas.ai rather than publicly disclosing it. Do not exploit any discovered vulnerabilities.
  3. Penetration Testing Authorization:
    • Written consent is required before performing any security testing.
    • Any unauthorized testing may result in immediate termination of your account and/or legal action.

2. Prohibited Content

You agree not to upload, post, transmit, or otherwise make available any content that:

  1. Violates Laws: Is unlawful, fraudulent, defamatory, libelous, or infringes on any intellectual property rights.
  2. Is Harmful or Exploitative: Contains viruses, malware, or any other content designed to disrupt, compromise, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or third-party data.
  3. Harasses or Discriminates: Promotes harassment or discrimination based on race, gender, religion, nationality, sexual orientation, or any other protected status.
  4. Violates Privacy: Collects or distributes another person’s personal information without their consent.

3. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to use the Service to:

  1. Circumvent Security: Disable, interfere with, or circumvent any aspect of the Service’s security or authentication measures.
  2. Overburden Resources: Engage in excessive usage that degrades performance for other users or attempt denial-of-service (DoS) attacks.
  3. Data Scraping or Harvesting: Access or search any part of the Service by any means other than our publicly supported interfaces, such as scraping, crawling, or using automated tools.
  4. Hacking or Unauthorized Access: Gain or attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service, servers, or related systems.
  5. Impersonation: Impersonate any person or entity (including Company staff) or misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity.
  6. Illegal Activity: Engage in or promote any illegal activities in connection with your use of the Service.

4. Enforcement & Remedies

  1. Account Suspension or Termination: If you violate this AUP, the Company may immediately suspend or terminate your account, refuse any current or future use of the Service, and/or pursue legal remedies.
  2. Investigations: The Company reserves the right to investigate any potential violations of this AUP. During an investigation, the Company may suspend the account(s) involved and/or remove content from our Service.
  3. Legal Action: If a violation of this AUP involves or may involve illegal activity, we may notify and cooperate with law enforcement agencies.

5. Reporting Violations

If you become aware of any violation of this AUP, please notify us at marius@alvas.ai with detailed information about the violation.

6. Changes to this AUP

We may modify this AUP from time to time by posting a revised version on our website or by notifying you through the Service. Any revised version will be effective upon posting unless otherwise stated. By continuing to use or access the Service after the changes become effective, you agree to abide by the revised AUP.
